Millville Means Business Profile

Lynn's Hometown Deli is known for being a friendly and comfortable place. “We know our regulars, call them by name and know what they like to eat,” says Lynn Resch, who has been at the helm since 1997.

But Lynn’s food is what keeps them coming back. “We make everything right here, from scratch,” Lynn says. Customer favorites include stew, chili, burgers and meatballs. They make their own sausage gravy and chipped beef. Loaded oatmeal and fresh omelets are also big breakfast sellers. “We only use fresh ingredients – all our vegetables, mushrooms, everything,” Lynn says.

Lynn and many of her relatives worked at a well-known restaurant in northern New Jersey for decades. When her mother relocated to Millville, she followed and set up a small deli on Wheaton Avenue. They have since relocated and expanded to their current location at 913 North Third .

Her team describes the menu as “like your mother used to make.” That’s for real. It’s a family affair. Lynn works alongside her daughter and granddaughter, Tracy and Mackenzie Pastuch. Together, they keep all their customers well fed and happy.
